Work It Girl

I am getting married in four months on September 13, 2019. And I want to look my best for my wedding. I am not even looking to be super skinny. I just want to feel comfortable in my body, which I don’t right now. I am worried I waited too long, but better late than never, I suppose.

So here’s the plan. I am not going to become crazy gym rat, but I am stepping up my game. I just wanted to share a bit with you guys. Maybe make myself a bit more accountable.

I had a friend tell me, one of the best things I could do is start treating my body like it is already where I want it to be. Meaning I wouldn’t feed my body all this crap if I was happy. I wouldn’t just sit on my butt all day, if I wanted to take care of what I had.

So here’s the plan…

EXERCISE PLAN:

Just get moving. Every day do something. Hike, do cardio at the gym, take a class at the gym, walk the dog, run…something. I just need to move more than I am now.

DIET PLAN:

Be more conscience of what I am eating. Cut out junk foods, fast foods, and soda. Find healthier more filling foods. The big rule is eat actual portion sizes, which means eating half of foods served at restaurants, or order from the kids menu (if possible). Also, drink more water, and at the right times.

As you can see, these are not big changes. I am not going Christian Bale in the Mechanic crazy. But I am making healthier habit choices.
